My name is Dr Erika Viljoen, born and bred in Vryheid, Natal many moons ago, compelled from the age of 5 to be a “healer”. My childhood was fulfilled from the age of 2 years residing on the West Rand , in Honeydew up to today 2012, 42 years later. Idolising my father, also a general practitioner, I finished my degree in medicine at the university of Pretoria in 1991. My practice has thus been “serving” for the past 18 years.

 

I believe in wellness, the harmonial balance of mind and body, therefore a consultation will not be focused not just on your presenting complaint, but on you as a whole. “ My parents always told me that people will never know how long it takes you to do something. My field of interest is your whole being, including your physical and psychological status and therefore utilising extra support structures which would necessitate your health including our in house psychologists and dietician and skin care. I do not have any preference , whether you’re a toddler, booming teenager, hormonal adolescent, or ageing master of wisdom. As long as we can look after your strengths and weaknesses and try to perfect what we humanly can. My defined special interests are those of:
